Today, I came to the Wenshu Monastery to light incense and candles for you and all our relatives to pray for peace and health. Here, I hold my hands together and silently recite the "Heart Sutra" in my heart, praying that the Bodhisattva will bless you with all smoothness.
"Form does not differ from emptiness; emptiness does not differ from form. Form is emptiness; emptiness is form." Life is like a dream and an illusion. Father, you have experienced the baptism of years, but you have always maintained that kindness and perseverance. You used your strong shoulders to hold up a sky for this family, allowing us to grow up safely under your protection.
Now that you have retired, I hope you can fully enjoy the beauty of life. "Picking chrysanthemums under the eastern hedge, I leisurely view the distant southern mountains." I wish your life to be like a poem and a painting, free and leisurely.
Last summer, I had a heart surgery. You and my beloved were waiting outside the operating room. I know how worried you were, and your love and concern filled my heart. During that difficult time, your presence was my greatest strength and comfort. I am so grateful to have you by my side.
